Little Goat
Originally popped into Little Goat while waiting for a table at Au Cheval, and were surprised by how fantastic it was for a quick bite. Hash browns, cinnamon roll, bacon, and pancakes—everything hit.
Round One: Accidental Brunch
It started as a filler stop, but honestly, the food made it feel like the main event. The hash browns and bacon were spot on, and the pancakes and cinnamon roll brought the comfort food energy. Perfect stop to tide us over and make us want to come back.
Round Two: Full Brunch
We made a return for a real brunch experience, and the meal held up. Solid food, great diner atmosphere, and a menu that’s creative without being over the top.
That said, gluten-free options were limited the first time, and not much had changed on our second visit—so definitely something to double-check if you’ve got dietary restrictions.
The Vibe
Casual, buzzy, and fun. Feels like a classic diner, but with a West Loop twist. Great spot for a group or lazy weekend brunch—if you can get a table.
The Verdict
Little Goat delivers fun, flavorful food in a cool, laid-back setting. It’s not perfect for gluten-free diners (yet), but worth a visit for anyone looking for elevated comfort food done right.
