Ramen San Deluxe Streeterville

Ramen San Deluxe Streeterville

Hit up Ramen-San Deluxe with Anthony and Staci for a casual ramen night. The vibe was lively, the service was solid, and the drinks were surprisingly good—but the ramen itself didn’t quite win us over.

What We Ordered

We started with:

  • Charred edamame – good on its own, but way better with a squeeze of lemon

  • Drinks – the margarita and old fashioned both impressed, which was a nice surprise from a noodle-focused spot

For mains:

  • I had the veggie gluten-free ramen – unfortunately, it lacked depth and felt underwhelming overall. The server mentioned it was the only GF option, which was a letdown.

  • Staci had the same veggie ramen (non-GF), and agreed it was just okay

  • Anthony went with the tonkotsu pork, which had more flavor, but still didn’t blow anyone away

The Verdict

We all landed around a 6/10 on the food. It’s not a bad meal, but with other Ramen-San locations in town, I’d probably try another one next time. Drinks and apps were the highlights—the ramen didn’t quite match the rest.
