Cafe Ba Ba Reeba
Anthony and I went here when Staci was out of town and had a nice meal. It’s a good spot for sharing tapas. We ordered a number of plates and finished off with the seafood paella and of course along the way we had to try the sangria flights.
This place is exactly what you want it to be—a Spanish tapas spot that doesn’t feel like it’s trying too hard. It’s not trendy or precious. It’s confident. Like a friend who knows how to throw a party and also somehow keeps the dishes warm
We were greeted quickly, and even though it was busy, we never felt rushed or forgotten. Our server nailed the pacing—checking in just enough, guiding us without overexplaining, and letting the table breathe between courses. That matters.
Tapas can be hit or miss, but here, they mostly hit
The Verdict
Café Ba-Ba-Reeba isn’t reinventing anything, and that’s the best part. It’s a restaurant that knows what it is, does it well, and lets the experience be about good food and good company. You don’t come here to be wowed by a trend—you come here to eat things you want to eat, pour another glass of sangria, and stay longer than you planned.
Four stars, only because it’s not perfect—but it’s close enough that I’ll be back. Probably with more people and less self-control.
