Prime and Provisions

Prime and Provisions

Anthony, Staci, and I went to Prime & Provisions for a steak dinner on October 1st, and overall, it was a reasonably solid meal—but not one that broke into top-tier territory.

The Food

We tried a lot, including both Kobe beef and a dry-aged steak. Surprisingly, the dry-aged was the standout—more flavor, better texture, and just a stronger showing overall. For the price, the Kobe didn’t justify itself. The supporting sides and apps were fine, nothing that really wowed or missed.

The Vibe

The space was buzzing—maybe too much. It was quite loud, which made it tough to settle in and really enjoy the full experience. Definitely more of a lively, power-dinner vibe than a slow, intimate steak night.

The Verdict

Prime & Provisions is an acceptable steakhouse, but it didn’t quite hit that “memorable” level we look for in a city this full of steak competition. No photos this time—we were focused on the food (and talking over the noise).
