Sushi San
Anthony, Staci, and I gave Sushi-San a try, and overall, we had a very good meal—with a few standout bites and a couple that didn’t quite hit.
The Order
We went for the Mega Sushi Set, added a few apps, and tried some extras off the menu. There was a big range of quality—some pieces were exceptional, others were just okay.
The tuna was excellent—clean, flavorful, and one of the high points of the night. On the other hand, we weren’t fans of the lobster green roll—a little muddled, and didn’t quite come together flavor-wise.
The Vibe
Sushi-San has a casual, high-energy atmosphere—modern, loud-ish, and fun. It’s not omakase-serious, but the fish quality is better than you’d expect for a place this laid back. It’s a great choice when you want good sushi in a lively setting.
The Verdict
Sushi-San is a good call when you want a relaxed sushi night without going full omakase. Some hits, some misses, but a fun experience overall. Would definitely go back—just might be a little more selective with the add-ons next time.
