Alinea

Brianna, Staci, and I went all in on the 14-course tasting menu at Alinea, and as expected—it was spectacular. This wasn’t just a dinner—it was an experience, complete with staging, movement, and a theatrical presentation that still managed to be deeply personal and precise.

The Format

The night started “in a cloud”—a surreal and immersive opening scene that set the tone for the meal. From there, we moved into the kitchen for a cocktail moment, where the pace and perspective shifted, before settling into the main dining table for the rest of the journey.

The Food

Every course was meticulously prepared and presented, and they did an outstanding job handling my gluten allergy—each dish was adjusted with care, and nothing felt like a downgrade.

As for the food itself—refined, creative, and sometimes outright fun. You don’t go to Alinea just to eat; you go to be surprised.

The Dessert

Let’s be honest: the dessert stole the show. Whether that’s about the flavor, the execution, or just the photos—it was an incredible finale to an already unforgettable meal.

The Verdict

Alinea is a world-class experience that earns every accolade it receives. From the immersive setting to the precision of each course, it’s a full G-Life 5-star night.

This was my second time, and it won’t be the last. If you’re into food as art—but also want it to taste great—The Gallery at Alinea is a must.
