Schwa

Schwa

We had the chance to hit Schwa with the Fergusons—and man, what a night. This place has been on the radar for a while, and it absolutely delivered.

It’s a reasonably priced tasting menu (rare these days), and it punches way above its weight. No white tablecloths, no waiters in suits—just great food, great energy, and a small room run by a team that clearly loves what they do.

The Food

I’ve been to a lot of places, and I’d say the first 4–5 courses were as good as anything I’ve had anywhere. Creative, sharp, and balanced.

Not every single course was a knockout—but that’s part of the charm here. This was a night of grand slams, home runs, and a few solid triples. No strikeouts. Just pure fun.

The Vibe

The music was great, the team was relaxed but locked in, and the whole night felt more like a dinner party than a formal restaurant. There’s an edge to it—but in a good way.

The Verdict

Schwa is excellent. If you’re into food but don’t want the stiff tasting menu scene, this is your spot. Creative dishes, relaxed vibe, and serious talent in the kitchen.

Five stars—no hesitation.
