The X Pot
Had pretty high hopes for The X Pot—the concept is fun, the space is slick, and the robot servers definitely add a bit of theater. We went in expecting something memorable… and while it almost got there, the food just didn’t land the way we hoped.
The Experience
It’s a whole show: robots gliding around, noodle dancing at the table, big screens, moody lighting—definitely designed for a night out that feels like an event. We tried a wide range of dishes and gave it a real shot.
But that’s the thing: despite the energy, the food didn’t match the production value. It wasn’t bad, just underwhelming. Flavors felt muted, broths lacked depth, and nothing really stood out. For a place with this much hype, we expected more punch on the palate.
The Verdict
The X Pot is a fun experience—but if you’re going for the food first, you may walk away a little disappointed. Maybe we caught it on an off night, but at these prices, it’s hard to justify giving it another try.
Cool spot to say you’ve been once. But for us, it’s probably a one-and-done. Could have been a bad night but that’s the way the business goes.
